Juventus are targeting the Champions League after Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner netted on his non-competitive debut on Sunday, Allegri believes Ronaldo has the experience to help Juve win the competition, the Italians have not won Europe's major club tournament since 1996 in Rome.
According to Sportmail, Juventus have their sights firmly on winning the Champions League following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, admits boss Massimiliano Allegri.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner impressed for the Old Lady on his non-competitive club debut, scoring in the club's annual friendly against the youth team at the Villar Perosa in Turin.
'Naturally, we have bigger ambitions of winning the Champions League than in previous years, just as we want the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana,' Allegri told Sky Sports Italia.

'Ronaldo has above all brought experience at international level and is an extra motivation for the younger guys to aim higher.

While all eyes were on the Portuguese superstar at the friendly match, it did not play out without controversy after it was forced to be cut short as supporters mobbed him and his team-mates 20 minutes before the final whistle.
Prior to the chaos, Juventus were cruising in the rural setting. Ronaldo opened the scoring, and his Juve account, before an own goal, a brace from Paulo Dybala and Claudio Marchisio rounded off the 5-0 win.
But having not tasted Champions League success since 1996, Allegri is keener than ever to arrest their barren run following a host of new arrivals this summer.

'We have more experience now, and there have been the arrivals of Ronaldo, Emre Can, [Joao] Cancelo, [Leonardo] Spinazzola will be available, the return of [Leonardo] Bonucci,' Allegri said to RMC Sport.
'I would say the team has improved but you can talk about that all day long. There's a field of green where you have to play, you have to run, you have to have great respect for your opponents.
'This year, more than ever, we want to beat everyone.'
The friendly was Allegri's last chance to get a look at his stars before the new Serie A campaign begins with a trip to Cheivo on August 18.
