Monaco have fended off competition from Chelsea and Arsenal to secure the £27million signing of Russia international Aleksandr Golovin.
The French club have pursued the midfielder since the summer, after he made a name for himself on the global stage after impressing at the World Cup.
Golovin was an integral part of the Russia side who progressed to the quarter-final stages of the tournament, and caught the attention of Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.

The 22-year-old is famed for his flexibility across the attacking midfield areas, and has penned a deal with Monaco until 2023.
Monaco took to their official website and social media to announce their latest signing to the world.
The club released a short video showing Golovin wearing his new shirt, standing on the cliffs overlooking the whole of the principality with the Stade Louis II below.

Speaking out on his move, Golovin revealed his happiness: 'This is a new adventure for me that I approach with a lot of ambitions.
'I am now very much looking forward to meeting the staff and my new teammates and to get going.'
Golovin has been allocated the number 17 shirt for the new season, as Monaco prepare to wrestle the French title back from the grasps of free-spending rivals Paris Saint Germain.
